   * In the Good campaign, players follow the main events of the films, and in the Evil campaign players control the
forces of darkness in a new storyline. In this alternative ending Frodo failed to destroy the Ring and Middle-earth is
conquered by Sauron.  



Players have the opportunity to fight as a Nazgûl, as trolls on Various maps, as a Balrog in Moria, as Saruman
against Aragorn at Weathertop, against the inhabitants of the Shire as an army of Uruk-hai, and even as Sauron himself
against Rivendell. Players also have the opportunity to play the Pelennor Fields outside of campaign mode. Both
campaigns are narrated by Hugo Weaving, who played Elrond in Peter Jackson's films and also narrated The Battle For
